Etsy Shop Preview – Doll Furniture

After many months of designing and creating handmade doll furniture and accessories, the time has come to give you all a PREVIEW of what will be initially sold in our Etsy shop BrunbelleDesigns. The shop will go live on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 9 AM PST!

I wanted to take some time to share a little bit about the inspiration behind my current furniture lines. As you know, I am always inspired by life sized interior design and furniture. My primary inspirations are rooms and furniture found on Pinterest, in design magazines, and popular home catalogs.

I handpicked fabrics and details to create 4 cohesive lines. Some items are limited or one of a kind, while others may be ongoing (regularly stocked). In addition to items being handmade, some are made from repurposed and upcycled found objects.

These lines are always a work in progress and I will likely add individual items in between collection launches. Replenishment of items will depend upon demand and material supplies.

My goal was to create a little something for everyone! I hope you find something you love!

Disclaimer: Not all accessories shown in the room will be for sale, some are from my collection or made for quick props.

Here we go….

Freebird Modern Collection

This line is inspired by popular Mid Century Modern designs and current brands like Joybird. I was lucky enough to find some amazing vinyl fabrics in mid century styles that kicked off this entire line. All pieces also have hand stained wood accents. The line also includes a few pieces of art and some accessories. This was a lot of fun to create since so many of you are fans of MCM design. I already have a fun selection of fabrics for a Summer line!

Boho Tropics Collection

I have always been a fan of vintage rattan furniture and with the popularity of Boho design it has really made a come back. This line is inspired by the many popular rattan designs such as those featured in the catalog Serena & Lily, by designer Justina Blakeney (@thejungalo) and World Market. Each piece is made with as much bamboo as possible for a real life look and feel. These are perfect pieces for the Boho style or a Tropical room. I’m developing a few more pieces and hope that these will be items that will be stocked on a regular basis.

Glam Luxe Collection – Molten Bronze & Blue Steel

These two collections are just for fun and a little extravagance! I love some good glam and this line is definitely a little extra and over the top. This line is inspired by the 70’s & 80’s era of high glamour with a big dose of Las Vegas hotel. I chose 2 color ways simply because I was so inspired by the metallic vinyl I found. These items will be limited due to fabric supply, but I plan to continue the line in more color ways/styles.

Chinoiserie Chic Collection

Honestly, this is my favorite line because I adore Chinoiserie style and it just make me feel happy! These are pieces that can add interest to a room on their own. Most people don’t decorate an entire room with this style of furniture so adding a punch of color or item in this style to a diorama would have a big impact. The arm chair was a feat of design, construction, and determination! It’s modeled after classic Chinese Chippendale chairs. Real life inspiration come from lines like Society Social and fun colorful bloggers like Dimples & Tangles.

Well, this is what we have been working on for the last few months! I hope you like this initial offering and see something you might like to buy for yourself or a doll friend! There will be a few other items that will be added to the shop that don’t fit in these specific categories, so be sure to check those out too!

The store will be opening on Monday, March 1st at 9 AM PST! In the meantime, you can favorite the BrunbelleDesigns shop and wait for it to open!

XO,

Rie & Bruni
