DIY: Glassware for Dolls

DIY Glassware for Dolls

As you know, one of our goals is for our dolls and dioramas to have the same beautiful items we have in our homes. Glassware is a tricky one since it can’t easily be created or painted. I do plan to delve into resin experiments this summer, but who knows how that will go! In the meantime, I’ve created some decorative household items using items we should all be able to find. Read on for lots of fun ideas! Continue reading “DIY: Glassware for Dolls”

DIY: More Mix & Match Dioramas Walls

DIY Diorama Wall Ideas

As mentioned last week, I decided that I would do a short series for diorama walls and room box ideas. My goal is to keep the costs down and allow them to be collapsible and storable. So continuing the Mix and Match theme, I have created a few more concept ideas for interchangeable walls.Β  Each of these build on the concepts shown in last week’s blog found here.

DIY: Mix & Match Diorama Walls

Diorama Walls

Jasmine is our girly girl and she’s loving her new floral wallpaper and cup of tea.

Of course, I am always looking for great deals on dolls and their accessories, but I also always have my eye out for items that can be re-purposed for doll dioramas. It’s really amazing how many miniature items are out there, you just have to keep your eyes open wide!

DIY: Industrial Metal Chair

These chairs are so popular in human scale and so many design rooms, that I had to figure out how to make them using inexpensive materials. So, as promised here is a picture tutorial of how I constructed this chair. This post is quick and dirty and much rougher formatting than normal, but since it’s an extra post, I hope you don’t mind!

Wood Crafts for Dolls

IMG_0747

If you have been following us for a while on Instagram, you know I absolutely love to craft with wood. Give me some glue and Popsicle sticks and I can keep busy for hours. I am a problem solver, so a lot of my creations just evolve as I glue pieces of wood together, that is also why it is hard for me to prepare tutorials while I am working on something, but I will do my best to give you some great pointers and resources!
