The time has come to announce the winners! I want to reiterate just how amazing everyone did with their room recreations. You are all winners in my book and should be extremely proud of yourselves! It was extremely difficult to make a final decision, but after a lot of consideration, I have selected the top 3 winners of Bruni’s Spring Challenge (the random winner is announced at the end of this post so be sure to read through the entire post). Congratulations to the winners!

1st Place 

The winning entry is a near perfect recreation of Option 4, Farm Fresh. @la_doll_cevita exquisitely executed every last detail of this design and made just about everything in the room. If you follow her on Instagram, you would have seen that she even wove the bench from scratch and made this replica chandelier which is just stunning. I didn’t even know how I would go about recreating that! She even replicated the napkins perfectly with “guest” printed on each one (check out more photos on her Instagram). Everything is so well done and literally feels like a real scale room and you certainly do a double take when seeing it in comparison to the real designer room! Bravo and Congrats!

2nd Place

The second place winner is @my_doll_world_ who recreated Option 3, Sophisticated Country! The sheer detail needed to create this room deserves a round of applause on it’s own. She added every detail of this room with care and beauty. The architectural details added really make this feel like a real scale room that any of us would love to dine in. If you check out more of her room she even created the rest of the room including a fireplace (which wasn’t required), so be sure to check that out! Bravo and congrats!

3rd Place

The third place entry is a recreation of Option 2, Elegantly Shabby, brought to you by @whats_lyndsey_up_to_now! She diligently and meticulously hand crafted almost everything in this beautiful dining room. She used many of her wood working and metal work skills; her chandelier was even hand soldered. She crafted and made the pottery and even her silverware! The plates also have the bunny print decoupaged onto them, and we can’t forget the flowers which were beautifully hand crafted. Wonderful job! Bravo and Congrats!

All of the Entries

The interesting thing about this year’s challenge was that there weren’t a lot of repeat participants from last year, in fact, none of the past winners were able to join in this year and a few started but were unable to finish due to a variety of reasons. What I love is that each year this has brought out new miniature artists that we may or may not have known about previously. What’s great about that is that we have more people to learn from and be inspired by!

@iausn – This entry did not make it into the late window, but it is an excellent recreation of this room, so I definitely wanted to share it here.

No one chose to recreate the final room, so I’m not going to share it here; if you want to see all of the original rooms check out the original blog post here.

Special Acknowledgements 

I want to also point out some amazing feats of creativity of a few of the rooms. I was just floored by the execution and creativity of the hydrangeas in @sunny_ofsunnyandlola recreation of option 1. The chairs that @tiny_view and @fancydolldesign created for option 2 were just stunning, the shape and finish plus the use of screening really brought these to life! I also want to acknowledge @san_francisco_barbie for her perfectly executed mirror in option 2, she got the scale just right! @noellaslilworld also deserves major kudos for tackling that challenging chandelier in option 4! You really pushed yourselves out of your comfort zones and created some magical dioramas that I hope you will enjoy for a long time!
