My newest series is a challenge to create a new room style made 100% out of Dollar Tree Items…the only exception is glue, paint, and the occasional cereal box. Each month I’ve selected a new room style/theme and then record a video tour showing the items I used to create the room. The videos can be seen on Instagram (links below). Have you seen the new “fashions” or career costumes they are starting to carry at the Dollar Tree? We spotted them this past weekend and had to pick up a couple because as you can see, we had big plans for these!
We all love a bargain, right? But we all want our diorama digs to be great quality too, right? I’m really trying to pair down, but let’s be honest, I’m totally addicted to shopping at the Dollar Tree and I love a good craft challenge. When I saw all of their signs, the ideas just started going off in my head. I wanted to make nice, wood furniture from DT items! Away I went!

I was so inspired by the last challenge that @thedauhlhouse hosted that I started thinking about doing several design vignettes for $10.00 (all from items purchased at the Dollar Tree). This is the second in the series with a Farmhouse Style. Check it out!
When our good dollfriend @thedauhlhouse threw out the idea of a Dollar Tree Design Challenge, I jumped at the chance. This is so up my alley or my jam or whatever cliche phrase I could think of. I gathered ALL of my Dollar Tree supplies and carefully sorted and brainstormed with the goods before picking the direction I wanted to go. I had a break through and decided to go all out…Bougee and Extra and I LOVE it! Hope you do too:
